Around 20 persons have lost their life after a major fire broke out at a coaching centre in Sarthana area of Gujarat’s Surat today. Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani visited hospital to meet those who got injured in this incident. While speaking to media, Vijay Rupani said, “I'm told that due to fire in the staircase, several people jumped from the fourth floor of the building to escape. I have ordered the enquiry.” As many as 18 fire tenders rushed to the spot to douse the flames. The cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained. Follow this story and more:
