Naomi Watts tenderly kisses The Walking Dead's Andrew Lincoln while filming Penguin Bloom

Naomi Watts recently returned Down Under to begin filming scenes for her new film Penguin Bloom.

And the New York-based star, 50, embraced her role as the film's heroine on Tuesday as she filmed intimate romance scenes with her co-star, The Walking Dead's Andrew Lincoln, 45, at Sydney's Palm Beach. 

Clad in a linen button-up shirt and khaki cargo pants, the blonde star was seen exchanging tender kisses with the British hunk as they sat on a ledge overlooking the ocean.

Naomi plays the role of Sam Bloom, a woman paralised by the waist down, and was seen propped up on a striped chair during the intimate scene. 

One one stage, she was seen cosying up to Andrew while gazing into his eyes, before turning to gaze wistfully into the distance.  

Muscle-bound Andrew plays Naomi's on-screen photographer husband Cameron, and looked typically handsome in a maroon skivvy, blue jeans and black sneakers.
