Miami rapper, Rick Ross is about to drop his 9th album, Rather You Than Me (on March 17th 2017), and I want to attempt to predict what it would sell in its first week. First of all, congrats to him for making it this far. 9 albums in 11 years...not bad. Some rappers don't even make it to album number 3 before they fall off. Although Ross ain't buzzing like he was a couple of years ago, he can still be considered an 'A' list rapper.
Rick Ross has never been a big seller, and he is no longer in his prime, so I would say this album would sell between 40-60k copies first week...plus or minus. The album drops tomorrow, so if you are a fan of his music, go out and support him by getting yourself a physical copy of the album. Rather You Than Me has guest appearances from Nas, Gucci Mane, Future and a host of other rappers.
